Adam Carter

Adam Keith Carter, 50, of Hope Mills, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2017.

Born on September 12, 1967 in Cumberland County, Adam was the son of Fairley Keve and Edith Marshell Carter.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Beatrice Carter, and Marvin and Annie Goodman; and cousin, Harold Brewington, Jr.

Along with his parents, Adam is survived by his sister, Stefanie Carter Herring and husband Joel; special cousin, Linda Jarman and son Bobby; wife, Michelle Barefoot Carter; children, Alex Robinson and Payton Gooden, and their mother Leslie Tatum Gooden; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Foundation.

Adam will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
