Annie Wood

Annie Emeline Trogdon Wood, 87, of Hope Mills, died Tuesday, October 02, 2018.

Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Lenair and Rosa Wheeler Trogdon. She is also preceded in death by her husband William Worth Wood.

Annie is survived by two daughters, Kim Wood Everitte and husband Thurman Jr., and Sheila Wood Smith and husband Daniel, all of Fayetteville; three sons, Richard Worth Wood and wife Stephanie of Statesville, David K. Wood of Hope Mills, and Steven Wood of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Ella Mae Rogers of Fayetteville; and two brothers, Donzel Trogdon and Vance Trogdon and wife Barbara, all of Hope Mills.

Annie was an avid reader, and she loved bird watching and spending time in the mountains.

Annie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
