Arlene Locklear

God saw she was getting tired. A cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around her and whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes we saw her suffer and saw her fade away.
Although we loved her dearly we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating; working hands came to rest.
God broke out hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Arlene Jones Locklear, 57, of 2615 Clinton Rd. departed this earth on November 10, 2009. Left with precious memories and rich
heritage are husband of 39 years, Allen Locklear, of the home; daughter, Arlana Locklear Walters, of Fayetteville; daughter and son-in-law, Cristy and Eric McLaurin of Fayetteville; daughter and son-in-law, Krystal and Kevin Sease, of Fayetteville; and daughter and son-in-law, Tabitha and Brian Heisterberg, of Raleigh. She is survived by seven grandchildren: Damien Walters, Kiana Sease, Cherokee Walters, Jasmine McLaurin, Jonathan McLaurin, Evan McLaurin, and Karmen Sease; and four siblings: Ruby Winner and Joseph "Buck" Jones of Gray's Creek, John Paul "Dusty" Jones of Lumberton, and Sue Lowery of St. Pauls. Arlene Locklear is also survived by a host of family and friends including two children in spirit: Robert Van Eck and Caroline Sanchez. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Annie Ruth Jones, and a sister, Jennifer Rose Jones.
