Barbara Scott

Barbara Ann Towery Scott (formerly of Fayetteville) passed away peacefully at her home, Sunday, February 5, 2023.

Born in Cumberland County, she is the daughter of the late Daniel and Lillian Towery. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Hebron Scott; brothers, David and Leon Towery, and a sister, Wendy Cowser.

She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Walters Altman and husband Brice; a son, Hebron Anthony Scott and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Travis Bullard and wife Kayleigh, Justin Bullard and wife April, Jasmine Scott, Anthony Scott, Jenna Altman, and Henry Altman; great grandchildren, Madisyn, Sheltyn, River, Sawyer, Hensleigh, and Adalynne; sisters, Linda Lupo and husband Joe, Delores Jacobs, and Brenda Messing. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Barbara was devoted to caring for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
