Betty Lancaster

Betty Jean Spell Lancaster, 80, of Plant City, FL, formerly of Hope Mills, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

Born October 25, 1937 in Clinton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Perry Oliver and Mary Gladys Spell.

Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Donnie Spell and Richard Spell.

She is survived by her children, Gwendolyn Conner and husband Stephen; Roger Lancaster and wife JoLena; Theresa Huffman and husband Tim; and Hugh Lancaster; eight grandchildren, Stewart Lancaster, Jordan Huffman, Rebecca Huffman, Hannah Lancaster, Justin Lancaster, Sarah Lancaster, Ryan Lancaster, and Shelby Conner; two great grandchildren, Bennett Lancaster and Brynlee Lancaster, siblings, Barbara Broome, Mary Althouse, Terry Spell and wife Jan, Dora Dean Burke and husband Billy, Johnie Spell and wife Patty, Michael Spell, and Ruth Taylor and husband Michael; and numerous other family and friends.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
