Carolyn Baldwin

Carolyn Ruth Baldwin, age 61, was chosen to be one of God's Angels to be taken home with the Lord on March 11, 2018 at Highsmith Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with the ones she held dear by her bedside. Her transition from Earth to Heaven was a peaceful one, so we know Heaven is now her new home.

Carolyn R. Baldwin, also known as "Foxy Brown" to many that knew her, was born on July 19, 1956 in Robeson County, North Carolina to the Ella Mae and Alexander McGeachy. She was her mother's only child.

Carolyn attended Parkton High School. She was loved by everyone she met, had a heart of gold, and did not meet any strangers. Carolyn loved to sing, dance, and cook. Her family meant the world to her, especially her great grandchildren. Carolyn loved everyone regardless of what. If she liked you, she liked you and if she didn't, you would definitely know it. She was that one single Rose that stood out from the rest. So when God chose her, we knew He chose the best. Carolyn lived most of her life in Parkton before moving to Fayetteville where she resided until she departed this Earth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Baldwin and her parents, Ella Mae and Alexander McGeachy.

Carolyn Ruth Baldwin leaves to cherish her memories her three daughters, Ella Sherine Colon (Miguel) of Raeford, and Sherlon Brown and Letosha McGougan (Michael), both of Fayetteville; one aunt, Etherine King; five grandchildren, ShaQauna and Sharnice Townson, Daryl Brown and DaQaun Brown, and Dayanara Colon; three great grandchildren, Sha'Mya Townson, Jae'Len Duggins, and Kayden Camacho; one long time special friend whom she always would hang with, Mary Alice McGeachy; and a host of cousins and friends that loved her dearly.

Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, niece, cousin, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
