Charlotte Kay Parker, 68, of Hope Mills, NC passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born July 4, 1955 in Kirksville, MO, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Shirley Daniels.

She is survived by her very devoted husband, Glenn Parker with whom she celebrated 21 years of a very happy marriage on July 26th of this year.

Also surviving are sons, Toby Parker and Justin Parker, and grandson, Ryan Parker. Her loving sisters, Byrdette Baker and husband Fred, and Rebekah Daniels. Her precious nieces and nephew Kimberly Baker Nicholas and husband Ethan, Danielle Baker, and Tom Baker and his wife Macy. “Nanny” adored her great niece and nephew, Annie and Maverick. Her god daughter, Elizabeth Buie, also held a special place in her heart.

Her true passion in life was in living and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with all people; that all should be saved and none shall be lost.

Charlotte was a charter member of CrossPointe church, where she was extremely active, even while in failing health. She was blessed to be a part of a very supportive Bible study, the Not So Over the Hill group, which she greatly treasured.

She enjoyed baking desserts, sewing and writing poetry.

Charlotte was an excellent teacher and she nurtured many young lives during her 34 years of teaching, before taking medical retirement.

Charlotte was passionate with everyone she knew. She enjoyed a broad circle of friends from every segment of her life. Family and friendships meant everything to her and she will be greatly missed by all. Including Pedro and Clarabelle, her fur babies, who provided her continuous comfort as they laid on her lap.

Visitation and a memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at CrossPointe church, 7030 Rockfish Rd, Fayetteville NC. Visitation is at 5:30PM with the service following at 6:30PM.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the CrossPointe church “I Am One” fund, 7030 Rockfish Road Fayetteville, NC 28306
