Retired U.S. Army SSG Harold Gerard Malaguti, 85, of Parkton, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Born June 2, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Lillian Malaguti.
Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Malaguti, as well as his first wife, Sylva Malaguti; and siblings, Albert, Danny, Johnny, Joseph, Marguerite, and Thomas.
He is survived by his son, Harold J. Malaguti and wife Cheryl; son, Richard Malaguti and special to his heart Kelly Bowman; stepdaughter, Sandra DeHart and husband Lee; siblings, Robert Malaguti and wife Edna, Josie Cerulli, Theresa McGuire, Delores Johnston and husband Glen, Barbara Carpenter and husband Ronald, and Dennis "Butchie" Malaguti; grandchildren, Gabriel Malaguti, Maris Malaguti, and Aslyn DeHart, and several other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org .
Harold was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
