Henry Grady Joyner

Henry Grady Joyner, age 94, of Fayetteville, NC went to his eternal home on February 6^th, 2024. He was the son of the late William Milton Joyner and Selma Naomi Stateon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Thompson Joyner; son, William Henry Joyner; and daughter, Betty Jean Horne. Henry was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church and Faymont Baptist Church, until he was unable to attend due to health issues.

Henry was the self-employed owner and operator of Joyner’s Welding and Joyner Services from 1968 to 2000, providing services to Cumberland, Robeson, and Hoke Counties. His business consumed a lot of his time, but in his spare time he enjoyed hockey games, Saturday night racing, and gospel sings.

Henry is survived by his sons Danny Lee Joyner and wife Allyson of Fayetteville, NC and James Earl Joyner of Wilson, NC; daughter, Audrey Driver and husband Leon of Wilson, NC; grandchildren, Justin Lee Joyner and wife Victoria of Fayetteville, NC, Jordan Lynn Sheets and husband Robby of Greenville, NC, Christe Hinnant and husband Shane of Wilson, NC, William Driver and wife Christina of Wilson, NC, Sue McLaughlin and husband Rex of Wilson, NC, Johnny Horne and wife Reagan of Wilson, NC; and 13 great greatgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Lafayette Baptist Church, Helping Hands Ministry, 501 Hope Mills Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
