Ret. Army 1SGT James Wallace Kennedy of Fayetteville died Wednesday January 24, 2018 at NC State Veterans Nursing Home in Fayetteville.
Born in Walnut Hill, FL he was the son of the late Oscar and Ida Kennedy. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Inez Kennedy; a daughter, Shirley A. Schallert; a brother, Gene Kennedy and a grandson, James P. Schallert.
He is survived by a granddaughter, Lisa Hall & husband Eddie; a grandson, James P. Schallert; five great-grandchildren, Ashley Hall, Courtney Hall, Johnathan Hall, James Schallert, and Amber Schallert; four great-great grandchildren, Caleb Hall, Bentley Stewart, Mia Reed, and Akai Reed; and two brothers, Olin Kennedy and Kenneth Kennedy.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
