Jean Gail Thornton, 70 of Hope Mills, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Elizabeth Hall; father, Eugene A. Thornton; and brother, JW.
She is survived by her son, Shannon Smith and his wife Laurie; granddaughter, Bailey Light and her husband Spencer; and a host of other family and friends.
Her family would like to thank the staff of 3HC Home Health and Hope Mills Retirement Center for their professional and loving care during her time there.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the Hope Mills Retirement Center, 4217 Elk Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348.
Jean will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
