Johnnie Lee Von Cannon, 63 of Stedman, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, in his home with family by his side.
Born on July 27, 1961, in Harnett County, Johnnie is the son of the late Marvin and Teschie Mason Von Cannon. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Von Cannon Selph.
Johnnie is survived by his wife, Betty Von Cannon; son, Brandon Von Cannon; daughter, Amber Cutler; grandson, Josiah Cutler; two special stepdaughters, Jessica Gore & her husband John and Britni Owens & her husband David; brother, Rickey Von Cannon & his wife Jeanette; special sister-in-law, Mary Jo McLaurin; two brothers-in-law, Michael Parker & his wife Joanne and Donald Strickland & his wife Cathy; Pam Ehrenfeld; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Johnnie worked for several years in the construction industry as a roofer and welder. In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed being outdoors riding horses and deer hunting. His passion for hunting lead him to join the Good Times Hunt Club, which he remained a part of for many years. When not outdoors, Johnnie could be found relaxing inside enjoying WWE wrestling, watching westerns, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by everyone who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests monetary contributions be made to help with any final or unforeseen expenses.
