Leslie Griggs, Sr.

Leslie Dahlman Griggs, Sr., 81 of Fayetteville, passed away on October 25, 2022.

Born April 8, 1941, in Custer County, Montana, Leslie is the son of the late Leo Claude Griggs and Dorothy Johnson Griggs. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Sue Griggs.

Leslie is survived by his daughters, Deanna Bordewick and husband John, Leca Gerber and husband Steve, Virginia (Ginger) Ill and husband Tom; son, Leslie Griggs, Jr.; grandchildren,  Carlee Bordewick Sara Bordewick, Lauren Pluss, Charles Pluss, Alexander Gerber, Natalena Gerber, Benjamin Gerber; brothers, Jerry Griggs and wife Maureen, and Leo Griggs, Jr.

Leslie enjoyed several hobbies which included woodworking and baseball. While proudly serving in the U.S. Army he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and was nominated for The Congressional Medal of Honor. Leslie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
