Mark Leonard Eline, 66 of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, in his home with his family by his side.

Born on July 10, 1957 in Delaware Co., PA at Taylor Hospital in the city of Prospect Park, Mark was the son of the late Richard Eline and Margaret Dempsey Eline. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jack Weinhold.

Mark is survived by his wife, Shirley McLendon Eline; son, Patrick G. Eline and his wife Jennifer Chavis-Eline; grandson, Conner M. Eline; brother, Richard Eline of Robesonia, PA; sister, Margie Weinhold of Doylestown, PA; sister, Kara Judd and her husband Stephen of Davie, FL; nephews, Brendan Eline of Dallas, TX and Ricky Eline of Wyomissing, PA; nieces, Katie Eline of Sinking Springs, PA and Marie Strassler and her husband Robert of PA; and great nieces, Riley and Kenzie Strassler of PA.

Mark attended Wilson High School in West Lawn, PA before joining the military. He served in the US Army at Fort Bragg as an 82nd Airborne Military Police Officer during his active duty time. Mark was an outgoing person; everyone he met became a friend. He was a hardworking man and wanted to leave his carbon footprint behind. He was meticulous in his thinking and work; the end result had to be perfect for him. He worked at Faberge Inc. for four years (1979-1983) until being hired for the Postal Service (1983-2013), there he became a union member and leader. He wanted to help all members that needed help. He became a supervisor in management and later became a postmaster. He enjoyed solving issues and loved to arbitrate for the members. He loved to fish, especially for tuna and mahi mahi. Mark loved his family and always wanted the best life he could have with each of his loved ones. His personality and booming voice will be missed by all that knew and loved him. You had to know him to love him.

Mark was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed and forever cherished by everyone who knew and loved him.
