Michael Britt, Jr.

Michael Jay Britt Jr., 31, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at home.

Born on February 28, 1986 in Fayetteville, NC, Michael was the son of Michael J. Britt, Sr. and Barbara Messer Britt.

He was a graduate of Douglas Byrd High School and the Finance Academy Class of 2004.

He was preceded in death by his Papa Hilbreth P. (Doc) Britt Jr.; eight great grandparents; uncles, Stevie Lowery and Phillip Horton; aunt, Trisha Lowery; and cousin, Jessica Lowery.

Along with his parents, Michael is survived by his son, Dylan Michael Britt; grandparents, Bessie Britt, and Paul and Judy Messer; uncles, Paul Jr., Joe, and Jeff; aunt, Sally; cousins, Rebecca, Shania, Rachael, Matt, and Josh; and Dylan's mother, Kristie Thomas.

Michael enjoyed fishing, family, and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
