Michael Gordon Fowler

Michael Gordon Fowler, 70, a life long resident of Hope Mills NC, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 9, 2024 with his loving daughters and family by his side.  

Born July 23, 1953 in Cumberland County, Michael was the son of the late Gordon F. Fowler and Blanch Jordan Fowler.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Paquita Ann Swan and nephew, Mark Stephen Tew. 

Surviving are his two daughters, Lilly Fowler Jones and husband, Brent Jones of Raleigh NC and Abby J. Fowler of Hope Mills NC; three sisters, Patricia Fisher and husband, Peter Fisher, Peggy Pierce and husband, Larry Pierce, and Rickey Lowry and husband, Al Lowry; one brother, Patrick Fowler and sister-in-law Betsy Gardner; and many nieces and nephews. 

Michael was a graduate of South View High School. He worked for Spectrum (previously Time Warner) for 30 years, and was not just a worker, but a close friend to many employees. He enjoyed fishing, music, woodworking, and most of all, spending time with his daughters who he loved very much, they were his world.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Michael's life to be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 25th at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services at 4721 Dunrobin Drive in Hope Mills, NC.
