Paul Jernigan

Paul Franklin “Frankie” Jernigan, 76 of St. Pauls, was born to the late Paul and Agnes Jernigan on December 10, 1946 in Robeson County and completed his journey to his heavenly home on February 18, 2023 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children and love of his life, Louise Scott; son, Marvin Buddy Scott; daughter, Nancy Edge; and grandchildren: Linda, Donnell, Jr. and Shawn.

He is survived by his children: Loyal (Holly) Colosky, Ruth Ann (Joe) Maitland, Glen (Lynn) Colosky, Donnell Evans, Melissa Scott, Glenn (Judy) Horton, and Carol Rivenbark; son-in-law: Billy Edge; siblings: Stella (Gerald) Parker, Carolyn Lashley, and Ray (Sheila) Jernigan; grandchildren: Eric, Billy Ray, Christopher, Frankie Wayne, Jennifer, Heather, Nancy Louise, Connie Michelle, Brenda, Cheryl, William, Angel, Kimberly, Katelyn, Matthew, David, Ray, Victoria, Julie Ann, and Michael; numerous great grandchildren; a special friend Mary Horne; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will cherish his memory.

Frankie was a loving son, brother, and father/papa, and a skilled craftsman who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In his spare time, he enjoyed his family, fishing, and working with his friends.
