Paulette Munson

Paulette Aleta Munson, 74, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 in her home surrounded by family.

Born March 26, 1946 in Harvey, Illinois, Paulette is the daughter of the late George Michael DeYoung and Marian Ziemba DeYoung. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Corbett and her current husband, Les Munson.

She is survived by her son, Michael Corbett and his wife Suzanne of Summerville, SC; son, Dr. James Corbett of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Dawn Corbett of Durham, NC; brother, Marc DeYoung and his wife Sue; sister, Celeste Dunn; sister, Michaelene Ohst; and grandchildren, Philip Corbett, Amber Corbett, and Selena Corbett.

Paulette worked in finance for over 27 years. She was active in the Catholic church and various charities. She served in local Republican groups in various capacities for over 10 years including President of the Cumberland County Republican Women's Group. She loved time with family, gardening, sewing and being surrounded by her pets.
