Thomas Smith

Thomas Charles Smith, 62 of Hope Mills passed away Wednesday August 28, 2019 at his residence.

Born in Mainz Germany he was the son of the late Lloyd and Katharina Heumann Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Belva Cahoon Smith; daughters, Emily Collins & husband Taylor of Bend, OR and Megan Smith of Hope Mills; grandsons, Carson Collins and Jack Collins; sister, Melitta Bruhl of Mainz, Germany; step sister, Rhonda Foshee of Raleigh; step brother, Kenneth Foshee of St. Cloud, FL.

Thomas graduated from South View High School where he played football, basketball and baseball.  He liked playing golf, going to car shows, being around the water and all sports.

He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
