Waltraut Pfeiffer Atkinson

Waltraut Pfeiffer Atkinson, 83 of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Born October 29, 1939 in Germany, Waltraut was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Maryann Pfeiffer.

She is survived by her son, Richard Atkinson and wife Sherry; daughter, Catherine Atkinson; daughter, Deborah Richardson and husband Dennis Sunnell; grandchildren, Sarah Atkinson and fiance Dale Barner, Katrina Kibbens, and Chris Richardson; and a host of other family and friends.

Waltraut was an avid gardener who enjoyed working outdoors and just simply loved spending time with her family.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
