William Leach

William Leach, 78 of Hope Mills, passed away on December 20, 2022.

Born in Massachusetts, William was the son of the late Edmond Leach and Iva Monte. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mal Cha “Kim” Leach; brother, Richard Leach; and sister, Sandra Leach.

He is survived by his daughter, Patty Costner and husband Dennis; daughter, Susie Ressegiue and husband Tim; son, Billy Leach and wife Traci; daughter, Liz Chrismon and husband Bryan; grandchildren, Stephanie Kimbrell and husband Anthony, Tiffani Hall, Kimberly Graybeal, Taylor Ingersoll and husband Josh, Danielle Leach, Jessica Dinwiddie and husband Eric, Joshua Chrismon, and David Chrismon and companion Marina Roe; great grandchildren, Lacey, Blake, Hailey, Andrew, Aiden Shay, Casey, Ava, and Robert; sister, Linda Scavetta and husband Rich; brothers, Steven Leach, Bobby Leach, and Terry Leach.

William proudly served in the U.S. Army for several years where he received the National Defense Service Medal. He was a loving and dedicated family man who also enjoyed spending time with friends. William will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Tunnels To Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
