Mr. Billy Hammonds, 74 of Raeford died April 29, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
Born in Columbus County he was the son of the late Zander and Artie Mae Lee Hammonds, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley "Betty Lou" Hammonds; daughters, Betty Jernigan & husband Teddy of Raeford, Loretta Caudle & husband John of Red Springs, Tina Hammonds and Dawn Hammonds both of New York; sons, Zander Hammonds & wife Ashley of Stedman, Willie Hammonds & wife Linda and Steven Hammonds all of New York; sister, Lena Berry of Fayetteville; brother William Oscar Hammonds of VA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren including Breanna, Shanna, Deanna, Jon Jon, Joanna, Wyatt and Lele.
Mr. Hammonds enjoyed going to the beach and fishing.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
