Bettina Cascasan

Bettina Madel Cascasan of Hope Mills lost her year long battle with metatastic renal cell carcinoma.

Bettina was born on January 10, 1965 at Guenzburg, Germany where she met and finally married on December 4, 1986 at Nykobing, Denmark.

She was preceded in death by her father Ludwig Madel; her two brothers, Luke and Walter Madel.

Bettina is survived by the love of her life her husband Ralph T. Cascasan and her only son, Marcel Cascasan; her mother, Konstantine Madel; two sisters, Siegrid and Verena Madel; brother in law, Joseph Cascasan his wife Bobbie and their children, Nicholas and Abbigail all residing in Raeford, NC. Numerous nieces and nephews all are living in Germany.

Bettina wanted to thank her medical providers from Duke Cancer Center, Womack Army Medical Hospital and Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.  Bettina also would like to thank Child Nutrition HR. (Ms. Raynor and Ms. Adair) for ensuring all paperwork requirements from her job were complied with so she can concentrate on her fight with her cancer.  Last but not least to all others that offered their help, called to check on her and prayed for her recovery- there are not enough words to say "Thank You from me and my family and God Bless."
