Betty Jean (Brown) Morneault

Betty Jean Morneault, 78 of Fayetteville, passed away on February 3, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born in Columbus County, Betty was the daughter of the late Daniel Brown and Annie Ruth Brown. She is also preceded in death by her daughters, Rhonda Hart and Vicky Nelson; and her brothers, Pete Brown and Edward Faircloth.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo-Ann Langston; daughter, Rita Pait and husband David, son, Danny Morneault and wife Dawn; son, Talmage “Smurf” Morneault; grandchildren, Nicki, Jaime, Ami, Raichel, Jason, Hailey, Taylor, and Gable; great grandchildren, Austin, MaKayla, Brianna, Paige, Ashley, Josh, Jason, Ethan, Jacob, Tristan, Preston, and Xander; great-great grandchildren, Aiden, Cassidy, and Bentley; brother, Alan Brown; brother, Kenny Faircloth; and a host of other family members and friends.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend who dedicated her entire life to her family. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
