Flora Allen

Flora Marie Musselwhite Allen April 17, 1961-September 4, 2021.

Flora Marie Allen, 60 of Fayetteville went to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley.  She was born on April 17, 1961 to the late John D. Musselwhite and Ailene Musselwhite.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Johnnie Musselwhite.

She leaves to cherish her, a loving soul-mate William Kenneth “Kenny” Allen of the home.  A loving daughter and best friend Ashley A. Locklear and special son in law Elijah Locklear of St. Pauls; a brother, William Musselwhite of St. Pauls; sisters, Patricia Tyler (Kenny) of Grays Creek, Janet Hickman (Dennis) of St. Pauls; special niece’s April Humphrey (Mike) and Crystal Ivey and a special nephew Timmy Tyler (Terri); great nieces, Rebeca Tyler and Shelby Locklear and Mimi’s heart and joy her one and only grandson, Elijah Ryan Locklear (Ry-Bug) along with a host of special relatives and friends.

Flora was well known for her contagious laugh and loving and giving heart. She was hard working, from spending 25 years at Black and Decker to 13 years at Eaton Corp.

Flora was an outstanding cook who brought everybody to the table.  Family was her main priority, from planning gatherings to making sure every holiday was special.  Flora was the photographer at every family gathering.  Not one memory was missed.  Her smile and presence will be tremendously missed.
