Janet Sappington

Janet Tucker Sappington, 53 of Hope Mills, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021.

Born July 4, 1968 in Cumberland County, Janet is the daughter of the late Thomas Jackson and Bonnie Harrington Tucker.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Sappington; two daughters, Amanda and Rebecca Sappington; a brother, Jerry Tucker and wife Jackie; a nephew, Josh Tucker; and her loving dogs and cat.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services of Hope Mills.

Janet loved spending time with her family and enjoyed sewing as often as she could.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Janet's father who faithfully served in the U.S. Army.
