Mal Cha Leach

Mal Cha "Kim" Leach, of Hope Mills, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the age of 80.

Kim was born August 20, 1941 in Japan and is the daughter of the late Tal Kim and Sok Sun Kim.

She is survived by her husband, William Leach; daughter, Patty Costner and husband Dennis; daughter, Susie Ressegiue and husband Tim; son, Billy Leach and wife Traci; daughter, Liz Chrismon and husband Bryan; grandchildren, Stephanie Kimbrell and husband Anthony, Tiffani Hall and husband Jamie, Kimberly Graybeal, Taylor Ingersoll and husband Josh, Danielle Leach, Jessica Dinwiddie and husband Eric, Joshua Chrismon, and David Chrismon and companion Marina Roe; great grandchildren, Lacey, Blake, Hailey, Andrew, Aiden Shay, Aiden James, Casey, Ava, and Robert; cousin, Cheagun Pak and wife Ansoon; cousin, Jaehyung Pak; and a host of other family and friends.

Kim was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a tree be planted in Kim's memory or a memorial contribution be made to the American Cancer Society.
