Mary Keels

Ms. Mary Ellen Keels, 95 of Hope Mills, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022.

Born July 17, 1926 in LaGrange, GA, Mary is the daughter of the late George Brewer, Sr. and Gertrude Bosh Brewer. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sons, Sylvester Keels, Jr. and Randolph Tinsley; daughter, Ellen Rae Fields; and siblings, Gladys Young, Henry Taylor Brewer, Sara Cradle, Catherine Mitchell, and George Brewer, Jr.

Mary is survived by her son, Ronald Keels of Fayetteville; son, Bernard Keels and wife Christine of Baltimore, MD; son, Jerome Keels and wife Maria of Hope Mills; son, George Keels and fiancee Sonia Woolery of Stanford, CT; seven grandchildren, Robert Fields, Jr., Shayla Fields, Katrina Ling-Keels, Taurean James Keels, Allysha Mae Keels, Jonas Amare Keels, and Mabu Keels; eight great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Mary was a loving moher, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
