Mitchal Mcfayden

Mitchal “Mitch” Nelson McFayden, 58 of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021.

Born in Cumberland County, he is the son of the late Charles McFayden and Shelby Wright Parker. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Chuck McFayden.

Mitch is survived by his wife Elizabeth Edge McFayden; three sons, Tony Grice and wife Kristy, Stephen Grice and wife Amanda, and Joshua Grice and wife Jamee; three grandchildren, Tony Taylor, Elizabeth Rose, and Taylor May Grice; stepmother, Glenna McFayden; a brother, Chad McFayden; and a sister, Valerie Foster.

Mitch was employed at DSI. Mitch was a hard worker and dedicated to his job. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mitch will be missed by all who loved and knew him. His greatest treasure in life were his wife, children and grandchildren.

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says grieve not for me.  Remember the best times, the laughter, the song, the good life lived while I was strong.
