Pauline Davis

Pauline Locklear Davis, 98 of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 in her home with family by her side.

Born September 15, 1923 in Robeson County, Pauline was the daughter of the late Luther Locklear and Sarah Elizabeth Tyler Locklear. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Davis; son, Nathan Locklear; grandson, William Hammond; brothers, Luther Locklear, Jr., James Locklear, Marvin Locklear, Brady Locklear, Gilbert Locklear, and Douglas Locklear; and sister, Berline Carter.

She is survived by her daughter, Paulette Lazenby; grandchildren, Sarah Wheeler, Kenny Hammond, Donna Woodard and husband Travis, Brian Lazenby and wife Misty, and Wendy Locklear; great grandchildren, Joseph, Randy, Amanda, Heather, Jessica, Tiffany, Nicole, Brian, Kennedy, Kayleigh, Brayden, Bryce, and Weston; several great-great grandchildren; sister, Delma Locklear; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pauline worked for Black & Decker for numerous years and enjoyed reading the Bible, bowling, and crocheting in her spare time. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
