Theresa Gales Sawyer, 82 of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 in her home with family by her side.

Born June 16, 1939 in Cumberland County, Theresa is the daughter of the late Oliver and Edna Gales. She was also preceded in death by her son, Fred "Freddie" G. Willoughby, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Terry Willoughby, Marcia Willoughby Moore, and Hope Norton; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Theresa was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
