Born in Cumberland County she is the daughter of the late William and Mary Jarman Harrell. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Smith, Jr..
She is survived by her husband Ronnie Lucas, Sr.; two daughters, Mary Foster & husband Jim and Megan Gaffney & husband Mason; two sons, Ronnie Lucas, Jr. & wife Jennifer and Zachary Lucas & wife Gina; grandchildren, Rylee, Kaylee, Justin and Jordan Foster, Avalynn Gaffney, Eli and Nathan Lucas; sister, Margaret Odom & husband Carey; brother, Harry Harrell & wife Estella.
